It's pretty sad this hasn't been added yet. So it's a huge deal in my honest opinion.

And going to Corporate licensing costs a lot more. Pro+ probably be the best fit unless interconnecting worked but that costs more.

If you want to use alarms, you need each site to have their own management, and then either interconnect or federated them together so it's one system with separate alarming. For you this may be issue as you have multiple locations. If they have alarms they get all alarms for the entire management server. You cannot set user/group Y to receive X alarm, while user/group Z doesn't get the alarm. That just isn't true.Īlarms: System wide alarms, you either get alarms or you don't. It's not really required, avigilon tries to scare you and say competitors will make your cameras stop working if you let the Care Plus(license) expire.

For these type of builds we use Axis cameras, with Milestone Pro+ and S2 access control integrated into Milestone.Ĭons: yearly renewals but only if you want software updates. Not OP but Milestone is my preferred method and you can integrate almost any access control software, so your not locked in there. I'd love to get that system switched over because we pay yearly for it's "software maintenance". The same server with fewer cameras and Genetec stayed near max CPU all day/night.Īs far as access control is concerned, we initially planned to implement Avigilon's ACM product for that but unfortunately, we had a bunch of proprietary access control boxes in our buildings and couldn't justify the cost of replacing them yet. It doesn't ever need more power than that. Server is 8 cores at 2.39Ghz, is running at about 30% and entire server is using 9G of RAM. Server is recording motion on over 70 cameras right now.

When ACC7 drops, we can choose to pay to upgrade or not if we need whatever new features they build into it. We bought ACC5, were running ACC6 (current) now.

Installs in minutes on a single Windows Server.Worked with our existing 50 or so Axis IP cameras (just had to purchase licenses). We replaced our Genetec system camera system with Avigilon a few years ago. *Post information that puts people at risk.
